WHAT IS THE EARLY FINISHER BOARD/MATH CHOICE BOARD?
The Early Finisher Board and Math Choice Board were created as a solution to the “I’m done. What can I do?” question. So often our answer is, “Read a book or do your homework.” Not having a plan for students who finish their work often leads to classroom management issues and disorganization. Teachers who use these boards in their classroom find that students always know exactly what to do when they finish their work. They are motivated to finish because there are fun activities waiting.
CAN I USE THESE BOARDS FOR ANOTHER PURPOSE?
Yes! Many teachers also use The Early Finisher Board and Math Choice Board as morning work or center/station activities. The Math Choice Board in particular is popular as spiral skill review.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EARLY FINISHER BOARD AND MATH CHOICE BOARD?
The Early Finisher Board includes ELA and Math related activities. It is available for K-6th grade. The Math Choice Board includes Math activities only. It is currently available for Grades 1-4. Both boards include 7 sections for students to choose from so that interest stays high and differentiation happens automatically.
